Blog Carnival

Welcome to Blog Carnival! We love the idea of blog carnivals where someone takes the time to find really good blog posts on a given topic, and then puts all those posts together in a blog post called a "carnival".

To understand what a blog carnival is, consider some examples. Here is the first edition of Carnival of the Vanities (one of the earliest blog carnivals). Carnivals can be very descriptive like this one, or very concise, like this one. Find the style the fits your topic and time schedule.

We think blog carnivals are a great way for bloggers to recognize each other's efforts, organize blog posts around important topics, and improve the overall level of conversation in the blogosphere. Carnivals come in edited "editions", just like magazines or journals. The fact that carnivals are edited (and usually annotated) collections of links lets them serve as "magazines" within the blogosphere, and carnival hosts can earn their readership by providing high quality collections.

Since blog carnivals include lots of posts on specific topics, they also serve as a place to connect with those who are expert (or at least highly opinionated!) and those who are interested in that field.

Blog Carnival simplifies carnivals for two kinds of people:

• People who read and contribute to blog carnivals, and
• People who organize and publish blog carnivals.

You may have noticed that we run some of our own blog carnivals. We started Blog Carnival by choosing some topics that we liked and went at it.

As time went by, we developed some tools to help us write our carnivals and blogs. We're sharing our tools with the blogging community. If you have suggestions for other tools or services for blog carnivals, please let us know.

Can you help me in finding other atv blogs? does anybody out there have atv blogs other than the HC? This is a bit frustrating. i need more in order to create a blog carnival.

Getting to know everyone

Who knew a lot of 'em had myspace? I'm working on getting to know them all through it. Woweeee!!! I've heard Dianne speak of you all, but I didn't get to really put faces w/ the names until now. Soon we will all get to ride together. I ride, not like a girl now... but I ride.

can't wait. I just hope that all is fair this Sunday and I can get Bob to go riding. It's supposed to be fair weather, and a really nice day for a ride. I would just love to get out there and feel free. That's all.

I want mostly to get to know all of you. As Dianne knows you. I cannot wait, I'm so hyped over this, I feel like a little kid w/ a new toy. Ya know that feeling??? This is just too cool.

Getting her on the trail

after yesterday, and getting both atv's fixed... it's a matter of getting them on the trail now. Gosh, I'm so excited. It felt so good to ride again. Bob and I are expecting our helmets and gloves today. It'll be good for us to get out there and ride. Maybe next weekend as we have moving to do this weekend.

I just cannot wait. Gotta get them puppy's out on the trails where they belong.

APR 12.....Ramp Festival/Bean Dinner Ride..... On park rides leaving at 10am N. Evarts RV site...serving starts at 5pm, Fried onions/sausage, pinto, white, green beans, fried taters, fried maters, corn bread, and lady RR FAMOUS desserts. Hot dogs will be served as well...Update..the church beside the High School will be having yet again another GREAT 5.00 breakfast serving will be from 8am-10am....Event Chair, powhiteboy, buddman44.
